Because it has only recently started making waves, much research is still to be validated on the health claims often associated with the tasty treat.
Many people are quick to list the apparent benefits that come with drinking it, but we prefer to deal only with facts that can be backed up.
Here are the benefits we know so far:
- White coffee contains more caffeine, which will boost your energy and increase your alertness. Caffeine has been said to increase memory, stimulate hair growth and aid in weight loss.
- It retains more antioxidants than regular coffee including Cafestol, Trigonelline, Melanoidins and Quinine.
- It also retains more chlorogenic acid than regular coffee and is thought to have many benefits such as lowering blood pressure, anti-inflammatory properties and even mood improvement.
- Until more conclusive research has been done, the benefits of drinking white coffee will seemingly remain a mystery just waiting to be uncovered.
